The first full collection by Anthony Vaccarello as creative director of Saint Laurent. Vaccarello’s outerwear was in no way inferior to Slimane’s—retaining that same sharp design code, but executing it through heavy jackets and rigid ornamentation instead of the usual ultra-slim cut. The jacket is crafted from a thick, substantial leather with a vivid, natural grain. It features shoulder epaulets and a structured stand-collar that transitions into a high-volume black fur trim, which is completely detachable via snap-buttons. The word "HEAVEN" is meticulously embroidered with metallic thread, framed by an intricate floral and botanical ornament wrapped around each individual letter—resulting in a rich, three-dimensional, living embroidery rather than a standard flat stitch.
