A blazer I never managed to find on the runway, though looking at it, that is exactly where it belongs. Black calfskin leather with a fine grain and a subdued sheen, a tailored silhouette, long slim sleeves with slits, and a rear vent. A voluminous embroidery details sweeps across the shoulder to the back: black and graphite sequins are laid out in rows, interspersed with bugle beads, faceted beads, and metallic cord. Burgundy shaped inserts with silver embroidery break up the dark pattern, evoking the ornamentation of a ceremonial dress uniform. Up close, the craftsmanship is almost jewelry-like, while from afar, it reads as a single, striking asymmetrical accent.
