I have some birds of my own. An exclusive special order of the legendary 2004 first-line runway jacket, this time featuring differences that extend far beyond the size tag. Instead of the smooth, dark chocolate leather seen on the previous specimen, this piece is constructed from a intentionally distressed horsehide leather in a smoky brown colorway. The uneven patina, highlighted stitching, and soft fading across the large panels beautifully emphasize its grain and the jacket's overall architecture. The volumetric body is pulled in by a wide knit hem band, while the high collar and cuffs are executed in black instead of brown. The embroidered eagles and aviation patches are complemented by the iconic Cyrillic text on a leather patch fixed to the back panel. The central two-way Lampo zipper track is finished with official house metallic pulls. Presented in excellent condition and an ultra-desirable, custom size 60 that sits completely outside the standard production grid for this silhouette. Finally, a specimen engineered for real heavy-built guys, who are usually just told to leave their beautiful jackets unzipped. The gangster look is already included in the price.
